Tandis que tombe l'information : deux étoiles au guide Michelin pour le restaurant (celui du 1er étage), Jean-François Piège, chef de la maison Thoumieux, nous accueille avec fierté dans son nouvel hôtel de la rue Saint-Dominique. Une déco années 50, distillée avec maîtrise par le cabinet d'India Mahdavi, moquette moelleuse, meubles chinés, et papier peints réalisés sur-mesure. Un hôtel, que Jean-François Piège et son associé Thierry Costes, ont voulu « comme à la maison » : accès simplifiés aux différents services (télé, Internet, Ipad), cafetière Nespresso dans toutes les chambres pour qu'enfin il soit possible de boire son café à parfaite température au lit. Exit aussi, les mignonnettes dans les salles de bain en marbre, remplacées par les magnifiques produit AESOP en format XXL.

A 1950’s decoration, by the famous and talented Cabinet India Mahdavi, soft carpet, vintage furniture and handmade wallpapers. Jean François Piège and his partner Thierry Costes, wanted to turn this hotel into a place where you can ”feel like home”: easy access to different services ( the Internet, the TV, the Ipad), a Nespresso coffee machine in each room to enjoy a tasty and hot coffee in bed. Also out the mini bottles in the marble bathrooms, now replaced by beautiful AESOP products in size XXL.
